Grandma Powell's Knee Replacement

Grandma Powell had a knee replacement this month.  I got to go to Colorado Springs this weekend to help out and give Dad a break.  I have been making freezer meals, putting ice on Mom's leg every hour, and just generally helping.  I think Dad is enjoying the break and I have been thoroughly enjoying my alone time with Mom.  Brent is holding down the fort at home and the kids seem to be happy there.  I love them all, but it has been a nice break.

Ryan's 1st Birthday!

 Today is Ryan's 1st Birthday!  The kids have been SO excited to help him celebrate!  Ellie is excited for Ryan to finally have a number.  :)  We spent the day doing the usual family activities and then we got to do presents and cake & ice cream after dinner.  Ryan didn't dig in to his cake too much because he didn't like the frosting on his hands.  He liked the ice cream though!  We should have had him open the hot wheel car last because he didn't care too much about the rest of his toys after that one.

Feeling Better

We have all been super sick and we woke up feeling so happy today!  We love sending pictures to Daddy and these are this morning's photos.
